If you want to contribute to Liberland through voluntary effort, you might get some Liberland Merits (LLM) in return. To begin, you have to become part of Liberlanders and get at the very least Liberland e-residency. You can start at https://liberland.org/intro

Is Liberland real or scam?

Liberland is a real country started in 2015. The country lays between Serbia and Croatia, claiming a 7km2 territory (three times the size of Monaco). Liberland meets the Montevideo criteria for statehood, of what is a country.

Is it easy to relocate to Georgia?

That depends on personal readiness. Georgia is easy to get into, offers comfortable visa policies for most nations and as most people speak English and Russian, it's comfortable to get around and the culture is mostly European.
However, everyone might experience the relocation and change differently. The country itself is easy to relocate to.

What's the tax for entrepreneurs in Georgia?

Georgia offers a 1% taxation for individual entrepreneurs with small business status of less than 500 000 GEL annual turnover. The tax is only available to people who are a tax resident in Georgia - who have the most ties and centre of interests in Georgia.
One doesn't become a tax resident in Georgia only by registering oneself in Georgia. This taxation status is meant for people who live in Georgia. Mind scamming companies who claim that you don't have to live in the country to pay the 1% tax.

What's the best city to live in Georgia?

Georgia offers a very diverse territory, which means different preferences for living in can be met. Some foreigners choose to live traditionally in bigger cities, mostly Tbilisi, and Batumi, while there's a growing interest into living in Kutaisi as well. All three cities have international airport.
However, some prefer more calmer or cheaper areas. You can meet foreigners living in villages, or in smaller cities, particularly in Kobuleti (at the seaside), Gudauri (mountains), Mestia (mountains), and others.

Are there investment real estate properties in Georgia?

Is the Georgian bank reporting to my country?

Georgia is part of the CRS (common reporting system) and therefore, its Revenue Service sends your tax resident country (its financial institution) the following information once a year: the fact you have or had a bank account there, and the current balance. This report is done around the end / beginning of the year and it's automated. Make sure you keep your tax residency information up to date.
If you close your bank account, the information about your past bank account is still being recorded.

How much does it cost to live in Georgia for a single person in 2026?

This is highly individual based on one needs and city of living. However, the cost of living somewhat normalized as many people left Georgia for another destination in the recent years after the post-war inflow.
If one lives in Tbilisi, the rent will be around 500-1000$, monthly food spending 150-300$, taxi costs around 2-6$. You can live cheaply in Tbilisi, as well as having a premium lifestyle. Batumi is cheaper than Tbilisi, and other cities are even more affordable.

No, many Russian speaking people who migrated into Georgia in 2022 and 2023 left the country. Those, who stay are rather intentional about being in Georgia. Therefore, you will likely run into a Russian-lead business owners, same as Georgians, or foreigners.

How's the weather in Georgia when you live there?

Georgia offers four seasons with different climate zones.
Tbilisi is a typical four seasons city with mild winters and always some sun, making it quite pleasant. The springs can be windy and summer hot.
Kutaisi and Batumi are rather tropical and two seasons without any extremes. The winds in Batumi can be strong.
Mountains typically offer mountainous climate.

Can foreigners open a bank account in Georgia?

Yes, Foreigners can open a bank account in Georgia in person or via power of attorney (a representative). It's one of the very few countries where some banks allow you to open a bank account without having a residency there and without depositing big sums of money.
Despite no official requirement to have particular ties with the country, it's recommended to open a deposit account.

Why does Georgia have premium banking?

Georgia offers an accessible premium banking with premium VISA and MasterCard cards without high deposit requirements. It's unique as mostly the banks require one to deposit high sums of money.
There are many Georgian banks, however, which creates a big competition. Also, many Georgians live abroad, and send money back to the family, which is one of the reasons why the banking is very international-friendly, and offers 4 currencies by default (GEL, USD, EUR, GBP).

How do Georgian protests affect living or traveling there?

There used to be major protests, mostly at the Georgian Parliament or Rustaveli avenue. Some protests could have ranged to Ilia Chavchavadze street in Vake or impact the Vera or Mtatsminda district and traffic.
If one doesn't come to the Parliament area around 8pm, there is likely no impact to one's conditions of living in Tbilisi, in Georgia. In other words, unless you go to the Parliament area, you will likely not encounter any protests.
It is not recommended to foreigners to join the protests.
